This was the first coin from cyprus that i have it in my collection. I haven't cypriot coins before. If you look closely, you'll see it's circulated or commonly use in its country. Little bit fact about cyprus with its currency, when Cyprus has changed the euro. The Cypriot government adopted the euro as the national currency on 1 January 2008.The eurozone currently consists of Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. Most other EU states are obliged to join once they meet the criteria to do so. No state has left and there are no provisions to do so or to be expelled. In Obverse, you will see Cruciform idol from the Chalcolithic period (3000 BC). This characteristic example of the island’s prehistoric art reflects Cyprus’s place at the heart of civilisation and antiquity.
